XPEL and BMW Team Up Once Again for the 2025 Rebelle Rally

For the third year in a row, XPEL is proud to partner with BMW of North America in the Rebelle Rally — the longest competitive off-road navigation rally in the United States and the first women’s endurance off-road rally in America. The Rebelle Rally is a test of precision, endurance and grit, where competitors rely on their navigational skills, not GPS, to cross over 1,500 miles of rugged desert terrain. 

A Rally Like No Other 

Taking place October 8–18, 2025, the Rebelle Rally brings together teams from around the world to tackle the breathtaking yet unforgiving landscapes of the American West — from the high deserts of Nevada to the dunes of California’s Imperial Sand. Each team navigates the course using only maps, compasses, and strategy, making it an event that celebrates adventure, resilience and skill. 

This year, Team 205 — the “R2D2 Team” — features veteran driver Rebecca Donaghe, who returns to the Rebelle behind the wheel of a striking BMW X5, and navigator Rebecca Dalski, BMW North America’s Product Manager for the X5. Together, they combine expert driving with a rookie navigator who will experience the ultimate test of the vehicle firsthand. Their determination and teamwork define the Rebelle spirit. 

A Stunning Transformation: The BMW X5 in Monza Red 

Before hitting the start line, the BMW X5 underwent a head-turning transformation thanks to XPEL’s Monza Red COLOR Paint Protection Film (PPF). Combining vibrant color with industry-leading protection, XPEL’s COLOR PPF allows vehicles to stand out while defending against scratches, rock chips and harsh off-road conditions.

In the true spirit of the Rebelle Rally, XPEL assembled an all-female team of expert installers to apply the film to the X5.
