See Ultra Rare Hybrid Lamborghini Sian Roadster Protected with XPEL PPF & Ceramic Coating at SEMA 2022

The secret is out: XPEL is returning to the SEMA show for 2022 and is joined by one of the 19 examples of the Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 Roadster. This year, SEMA visitors will see the Lamborghini's first-ever hybrid supercar showcasing ULTIMATE PLUS ™ paint protection film and FUSION PLUS ™ ceramic coating. These XPEL products will help protect the Lamborghini Sian's exclusive Uranus Blue paintwork. In addition to the lucious Lambo, the XPEL booth at the SEMA will showcase the latest in VISION Home and Office window film , InvisiFRAME bike protection from InvisiFRAME , and accompanied by another special electrified vehicular guest.

A Milestone in Supercar History

The Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 debuted in 2019 as the automaker's first hybrid supercar. Built as a limited edition, the Sian FKP 37 features a supercapacitor capable of storing power more efficiently than conventional lithium-ion battery packs. The car's production numbers are limited to 63 coupes and 19 roadsters, which have the honor of being Lamborghini's first open-top hybrid supercar.

Every aspect of this rare Lamborghini represents new technology or a call back to its legacy. For example, the car's name, "Sian," comes from the Bolognese word meaning "flash of lightning." In addition, the FKP 37 references Volkswagen Group chairman Ferdinand Piech, whose initials are "FKP," and the number 37 represents his birth year. However, the Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 most impressive detail is its mid-engine hybrid V12.

Lamborghini's first hybrid supercar features a 6.5-liter V12 producing 774 horsepower and 531 lb.-ft of torque. An electric motor supports the gasoline engine with 34 hp and 26 lb.-ft of torque. Meanwhile, the car's supercapacitor is positioned in the car's gearbox and stores power generated by the electric motor using less physical space than a standard battery and helping to maintain good weight distribution.

As a result, the Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 has a total output of 807 hp to power its electronically controlled all-wheel drive system through a seven-speed auto-clutch transmission. The automaker claims the Sian FKP 37 Roadster can sprint from zero to 60 in three seconds and continue acceleration to a top speed of over 215 mph.

While the coupes received Green Gold as their signature exterior color, the Sian FKP Roadsters are all painted in Uranus Blue with contrasting gold wheels. In addition to Y-shaped headlights, sculpted contours, and enhanced aerodynamics, the Sian FKP 37 features 3D-printed carbon fiber air vents. Given the car's design and performance, each Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 Roadster is a two-million-dollar supercar, and sold like hotcakes to collectors.

No doubt, a machine of this magnitude requires the highest quality paint protection film and ceramic coating available.
