Summary

We are seeking a Director of Manufacturing who will be leading the design, implementation, and sustainability of manufacturing strategies throughout XPEL’s supply & manufacturing workstreams.

Core Duties

• Develops and implements strategies meant to improve the organization's financial performance and competitive positioning through continuous improvement of production related processes.

• Leads the engineering team that identifies manufacturing processes or procedures that could benefit from process improvement or efficiency optimization, and approves the implementation of changes

.• Oversees the manufacturing operational activities such as production planning, inventory coordination, production data management, 3PL warehousing, price negotiations with suppliers.

• Leads the on-boarding of new manufacturing partners that can help improve the quality or commercials for the product.

• Develops a manufacturing plan and production schedule that increases profit while reducing overhead.

• Collaborate with research and development teams as technologies transition from pilot & scale-up environments to ensure a successful commercialization.

Job Requirements

• B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or Materials Engineering, preferred; adjacent & relevant fields are encouraged to apply.

• Ideal candidates will have 10-20 years polymer films, roll-to-roll, and/or coatings experience with significant involvement in manufacturing operations and/or process engineering.

• A strong desire to lead, coach, and develop talent.

• Ability to travel up to 50%.
