XPEL SIGNS DISTRIBUTORSHIP WITH AFTERMARKET SPECIALISTS
– Reach Into 2,000 Canadian New Car Dealerships –
– 55 Years Combined Experience in Automotive Industry –
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS, September 6, 2005…XPEL Technologies Corp. (CNQ: XPEL.U) today announced that Car Dealer Marketing Inc. (“CDM”) of Ontario, Canada, has become the newest international distributor for XPEL Paint and Headlamp Protection products. CDM executives Charlie Kessler and Don Switzer, dealership consultants with 55 years of combined experience in the automotive industry, have existing reach into over 2,000 new car stores throughout the Canadian marketplace.
Charlie Kessler of CDM, stated, “While in discussions with many of our new car dealer clients, it became evident that alternative products were necessary to boost their sagging profits due to factory-related incentives. Naturally, this had to be accomplished with products that were not only a good investment for consumers, but also a solid profit opportunity for the dealerships themselves. While performing our research, we uncovered XPEL Technologies Corp., which offered the kind of product set we were looking for. When considering XPEL’s superior kit designs, best-practices installation training, and their ‘on-demand’ electronic product delivery system, all coupled with 3M’s industry-best paint protection film, we have an incredibly strong product opportunity for our clients that is without question, second-to-none.”
CDM executive Don Switzer also commented, “We are happy to report that our client’s acceptance of this product has been extremely favorable. We are working closely with 3M Canada and the XPEL team to accelerate this product offering across Ontario and other parts of Canada. We believe our market penetration in the first year alone could easily approach 100 new car dealerships.”
XPEL Technologies Corp. (www.xpel.com), publicly traded on the Canadian Trading and Quotation System Exchange, is the worldwide leader in the electronic delivery of top automotive aftermarket products, utilizing the Internet as an integral component for its design, manufacturing, distribution and customer relationship strategies. The Company’s DAP software utility offers Dealers the industry’s most efficient and productive tool set for better serving customers with “best of breed” solutions in real-time. XPEL has clear advantages over the competition through its proprietary corporate framework consisting of an expansive library of installation-friendly window tint, paint and headlight protection products, coupled with a unique web-based remote manufacturing and distribution software, superior installation training curriculum and facilities, and established and growing sales distribution channels.
