Procurement Specialist

XPEL is looking for a Procurement Specialist to oversee the purchasing of materials & supplies, inventory management and vendor negotiations. This position is based at XPEL’s Corporate Headquarters in San Antonio, Texas. Relocation is available to the right candidate.

Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Review orders, creating requisitions for purchased items and manage the approval process
  • Search, review prices and product specifications from various suppliers to get best possible pricing
  • Communicating pricing updates to appropriate personnel
  • Create and maintain purchasing files and price lists
  • Track deliveries and make sure the receipt of the materials and equipment ordered from suppliers
  • Answer supplier and customer inquiries about order changes or cancellations and check requisition orders for accuracy
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure a positive working relationship: negotiate pricing and/or terms, and evaluate vendor performance
  • Study market prices and trends
  • Monitors stock levels
  • Conduct and report out project cost accounting; and prepare monthly reports to management

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a procurement/supply chain role
  • Ability to work independently, and work in a fast-paced environment with strict time constraints
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiating prices and terms and conditions
  • A strong analytical mindset
  • Outstanding organizational and follow-up skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
