SUMMARY: Since 1997 XPEL has been an unparalleled innovative force and world leader in the protective films industry. XPEL is seeking a Purchase Coordinator who will be responsible for the Purchasing activities for the company. The Purchase Coordinator reports to the Purchase Manager. Major Job Responsibilities:
Issue Purchase orders to Suppliers as per the requirements communicated by the materials planning team.
Track the items to ensure that they are received by the warehouse and troubleshoot any issues
Maintain accurate purchase characteristics (item lead times, preferred supplier, purchase price etc.) in the system and hold suppliers accountable to their commitments and to meet performance expectations.
Work with Suppliers to resolve quality issues and with internal accounting team for any credits.
Maintain accurate files and records for all correspondence and transactions with Suppliers
Coordinate with "SKU setup team" to create any new part numbers for purchasing and maintain pricing & vendor details on the SKUs
Qualifications: 3-5 years’ work experience
Relevant experience as a Purchase Coordinator or a related position within Purchase Department.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. Knowledge of Net Suite a plus.
Ability to work independently, and work in a fast-paced environment with strict time constraints
A strong analytical mindset Outstanding organizational and follow-up skills. Salary Information: Annual pay is based off experience.
