NSXPO 2013 Raleigh, NC and Virginia International Raceway, VA
NSXPONSXPO celebrates all things NSX. The NSX has been claimed as being one of the best handling cars of all time. This is due in part to it's mid mounted engine, light weight, and rear drive platform. Released in 1990 the Honda NSX (it was sold as an Acura in the United States and Hong Kong), was produced until 2005 and is powered by an all aluminum V6 featuring Honda's famed variable valve timing and lift electronic control (VTEC). But let's not get carried away with the numbers, because the NSX has never been about numbers. More, it's about the way it makes the driver feel. During the banquet the first night of the event, the lead project manager for the new Acura NSX Ted Klaus spoke and he said, "it's a car that the driver is the most important part of." I think that is exactly the reason all NSX owners feel so connected to their car. Yes the car is quick around a race track, but it's the spirited driving through the mountains or hill country that can really get someone excited about driving. There were just a little over 18,000 NSX's produced worldwide, and of that about 9,000 made it to our shores. We had right around 110 NSX's at NSXPO this year and it was such a surreal experience to go from seeing an NSX once every couple months to seeing dozens of them all in one parking lot.Every owner we met was nicer than the last and overall a great group of people to get to know. We believe that's what being a car enthusiast is all about. Coming together to share a common appreciation for the things that move us. In this case, it just happens to be a rare mid engined supercar! Speaking of rare, Honda has just released more information regarding the 2015 NSX. Until recently the only thing Honda told us is that it will be a mid-mounted V6 with their hybrid SH- all wheel drive system. At the Tokyo Motor Show they announced they will be adding two turbos to the V6 which seems to be the best and most efficient way to get power and preserve fuel economy. We are all excited to see it fully revealed and hopefully next year at NSXPO 2014 we will be able to. We want to thank everyone for welcoming us to this event . We cannot wait to go next year and appreciate you trusting us as the preferred paint protection film of NSX. Below areexamples of the patterns that were installed on some of theseAcura NSX FullHood, FullFenders, Mirrors and Bumper Kit

Demonstration of our XPEL ULTIMATE self-healing properties
Our XPEL ULTIMATE film self-heals from light scratches, swirl marks and rock chips while driving or maintaining your vehicle. During the show we use a Brass wirebrush to simulate the every day occurrences that can affect the film. With the sun on the display the scratches from the brush instantly disappear. When the sun is not available, you can accelerate the healing process with a cup of warm water or a heat source.
Not all Patternsare created equal
At XPEL we pride ourselves on our pre-cut pattern software. By using a pre-cut pattern youll have less to worry about, since the installer willnot be trimming the film on your vehicle.Using a pre-cut pattern the film will naturally fit without excessive stretching or contortion, which means the finished product not only lines up perfectly but is free of defects which could be visible once the install is finished.
Contrary to what some may believe its possible to wrap edges using a computer cut pattern which gives you a much better protection and installation. WithXPEL Technologies Corp., all patterns are available with precision cut wrapped edges where possible. Where a wrapped edge is not possible, for example around theparking sensors on a bumper, reverse cameras and more, the film is always machine cut with precision.
