Earlier this year we teamed up with Jeep Jamboree to protect a Wrangler Rubicon with XPEL ULTIMATE clear bra before the start of the 2017 tour. After making the trek across the United States, they decided to remove some of the film to see how it had held up along the way.
If you're unfamiliar with ULTIMATE paint protection, check out the video from Jeep Jamboree below & see the results for yourself.
HITTING THE TRAIL WITH JEEP JAMBOREE
We didn't get a chance to experience the Jeep Jamboree first hand this year, but judging from the photos on their Facebook page, it looked like an incredible series of events. They toured some of the coolest off-road parks & locales the US has to offer, taking in the sights & sounds of the great outdoors.
A little mudding here, a little rock crawling there, and trails aplenty. If you're a Jeep fan, put Jamboree up high on your to-do list. The 2018 tour dates & stops are available online, and registration is open.
As the tour made its rounds, they even had participants leave signatures behind on top of our ULTIMATE paint protection film. With such strong stain resistance, there's no need to worry about damaging the paint underneath. For that matter, the permanent ink will wipe right off with a little bit of isopropyl alcohol and a rag.
WRAPPING THE WRANGLER AT XPEL SAN ANTONIO
Incase you missed it, we put together an install montage of the Jeep Jamboree Wrangler when it visited our headquarters in San Antonio.
Coverage is pretty customizable when it comes to XPEL paint protection packages. We recommend having the film installed on any high impact areas, or really anywhere that might be susceptible to scratches. If you're looking to retain a high-gloss finish, there's no better solution than XPEL ULTIMATE. Interest in a more unique approach to your Jeep's exterior aesthetics? XPEL STEALTH satin finish paint protection has you covered. Pop over to the product pages for more information, and as always, don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
Thanks for reading & see you on the trails in 2018!

XPEL Ultimate Self-healing Clear Bra
XPEL ULTIMATE leads the industry with it's clarity, durability, gloss retention and more. We stand behind our product 100%, so much so that ULTIMATE has a 10-year warranty covering defects such as yellowing, cracking, staining, blistering and/or delaminating.
Protecting your car has many benefits. It will help maintain your car’s factory finish, make your car easier to clean, help the resale value of your vehicle, all while it is being protected from every day driving.
Demonstration of our XPEL ULTIMATE self-healing properties
Our XPEL ULTIMATE film self-heals from light scratches, swirl marks and rock chips while driving or maintaining your vehicle. During the show we use a Brass wire brush to simulate the every day occurrences that can affect the film. With the sun on the display the scratches from the brush instantly disappear. When the sun is not available, you can accelerate the healing process with a cup of warm water or a heat source.
Not all Patterns are created equal
At XPEL we pride ourselves on our pre-cut pattern software. By using a pre-cut pattern you’ll have less to worry about, since the installer will not be trimming the film on your vehicle. Using a pre-cut pattern the film will naturally fit without excessive stretching or contortion, which means the finished product not only lines up perfectly but is free of defects which could be visible once the install is finished.
Contrary to what some may believe it’s possible to wrap edges using a computer cut pattern which gives you a much better protection and installation. With XPEL Technologies Corp., all patterns are available with precision cut wrapped edges where possible. Where a wrapped edge is not possible, for example around the parking sensors on a bumper, reverse cameras and more, the film is always machine cut with precision.
You can pick and choose your coverage options.
Door handle inserts, also known as door cups. This area is prone to getting scratched when entering and exiting the vehicle with rings, fingernails, etc...

High Impact Areas
15 months ago, the guys at JeepLab covered their black Rubicon from bumper to bumper with XPEL Ultimate self-healing paint protection film. And since then, they have been throwing whatever they can at it to test it's durability. From backwoods off-roading, running through brush, dirty, heavy mud, they drove through it all. XPEL has held up. Here's the install thread. JeepLab and XPEL Ultimate.
Moab Easter Jeep Safari
So this year for Easter they drove 30 hours to Utah, for the Moab Easter Jeep Safari. The event is so big, that even the state of Utah lists the event on their website.
"The annual Easter Jeep Safari is America's largest and best-known event promoting recreational four wheeling. It is held in Moab, Utah, and runs for nine days. It takes place the week before and including Easter Sunday. The actual dates of the Safari vary from year to year, since Easter may fall on a different Sunday every year." Utah.com
They go on to say that they attract over 1,000 off road ready vehicles. What an incredible event!
15 months after installation and the XPEL wrap is still saving my bacon!
Ross from JeepLap gave us a recap after the event of how the film held up. This is what his email said.
We want to thank JeepLab again for the amazing testimonial. It's people like you that give us real world results. If they can send a Jeep through the hazards of Moab, while completely protecting their paint and look of the car, then there's no reason it won't save your bacon.
