Made in Italy – Designed by a New Yorker

Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale Centennial Edition This Rosso Magma Metallic GranTurismo MC Stradale Centennial Edition began its journey in Modena, Italy; when it was fully matured the GranTurismo made its way to San Antonio, Texas. Ironically enough, the person responsible for the great body lines and curves goes to the designer, Jason Castriota, who grew up in none other than, the United States of America. He was born on the East Coast and then later interned with Pininfarina in Cambiano, Italy. With Pininfarina, Jason, was responsible for helping with the design on such cars as the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, the Maserati GranTurismo and a few other concepts and supercar’s for Maserati, Ferrari and Rolls Royce. It goes without saying, how beautiful the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale Centennial Edition looks, but the sounds that come from the exhaust, are a thing of beauty. The 4.7 Liter V8 pushes out 454 horsepower through a ZF 6-speed automatic transmission, which gallops the car all the way up to its top speed of 188 miles per hour. If you’re wondering how quickly you can get this Italian Stallion from 0 – 60 miles per hour, it only takes a mere 4.5 seconds. With all this performance, you can still get a conservative 21 miles per gallon on the highway. So, now that you have the performance vehicle you’ve always wanted, how will you help protect and keep this beautiful beast looking brand new? The owner of this Maserati chose to wrap the front end and rocker panels with none other than XPEL ULTIMATE paint protection film. The full front end includes: full hood, full fenders, front bumper, headlights, and mirrors. The owner also recognized how vulnerable the rocker panels are susceptible to rock chip damage, so he elected to have them covered with ULTIMATE as well. This included removing the factory film, which unfortunately, doesn’t provide full coverage. Installation Process Inspection When you drop your vehicle off at XPEL San Antonio, the first thing we do is a full exterior vehicle inspection (to check for any rock chips or damage) Wash Your Vehicle We use our signature XPEL Flawless Rinse Free Car Wash to clean your entire vehicle and ensure we have a clean canvas to work with. Clay Bar the Installation Area The next step in our process is using a clay bar, which will remove any surface contaminants (bird droppings, wax, sap, bugs, etc). This process will make sure that the surface is smooth and ready for the paint protection film to be applied. Final Wipe Down Once the claying process is complete, we'll wipe down your vehicle and inspect the paint before applying the paint protection film. Paint Inspection If there are any contaminants left behind we will repeat the clay bar process to make sure you get the best installation possible. Applying Installation Gel Now that the surface is clean, smooth and ready for Paint Protection Film, we spray XPEL Installation Gel on the surface where film is going to be installed. The Gel allows us to move the film around and get the XPEL Pre-Cut film kits aligned on the vehicle before we start using the squeegees to install the film. Installing XPEL ULTIMATE Paint Protection Film Once the gel has been applied to the vehicles paint, we will lay the XPEL ULTIMATE pre-cut paint protection film on your vehicle. Our XPEL Pre-cut kits are designed to fit precisely without the need to trim the film on the paint. If you are having XPEL installed, be sure to ask your installer if they are using XPEL pre-cut kits. Once the installers have the film aligned correctly, they will start squeegeeing the film in place, similar to the image below. Final Inspection Now that the film has been applied, our paint protection film installers will do a quality check to make sure there are no issues with the installation and continue to the next panel on the vehicle. Finished Pictures outside XPEL Headquarters

Porsche Cayman GT4 for Planet-9 Founder

Porsche Exchange Delivery When Ken Smiley, the founder, and admin of Planet-9 contacted us and asked about protecting his track-ready Porsche Cayman GT4, we didn't hesitate to jump in and help him find a local Factory Trained XPEL Installer. After all, Ken had a 500+ mile drive home to Kansas once the vehicle was completed. A 500+ Mile drive? Yes, Ken selected the Porsche Exchange in Chicago to take delivery of his Racing Yellow GT4 and had the Chicago Auto Pros perform their magic, wrapping this beautiful car with XPEL ULTIMATE self-healing paint protection film. The coverage areas included a full front end (full hood, full fenders, front bumper, and mirrors), rocker panels and custom wing coverage. Ken is now ready to hit the road and the track. Look below at the article that Ken wrote about his entire experience, that is also on his website, Planet-9.com, a Porsche Enthusiast Forum.

Satin White Panamera Turbo?

How do you make a Panamera look even better? You wrap it with XPEL STEALTH! Imagine, you just spent over $140,000 dollars on a beautiful Pure White Porsche Panamera Turbo. What is the first thing you do, besides drive it like you stole it? You wrap the vehicle with XPEL ULTIMATE self-healing Paint Protection Film. Our Co-Founder, COO Tim Hartt, didn’t just wrap it with our traditional XPEL ULTIMATE; he wrapped the ENTIRE vehicle with XPEL STEALTH satin-finish paint protection film. That’s right, every painted surface of this Porsche Panamera is wrapped with our STEALTH film. This revolutionary film transforms your glossy paint to a satin finish of your vehicles color. XPEL San Antonio was honored to begin this process of wrapping this entire Panamera. We started by washing and removing any contaminants with a clay-bar. After the vehicle was clean and free from debris, we started with our pre-cut kits of XPEL STEALTH and applied to every panel of this vehicle. Our pre-cut kits allow for a wrapped edge, to make for a seamless installation. XPEL STEALTH has a 10-year warranty that covers, yellowing, staining, cracking, blistering and delaminating. Upgrades Aside from the STEALTH satin clear bra, this isn't your standard Porsche Panamera Turbo. This Panamera has been upgraded with a few things from AWE Tuning, which together add a staggering 100+ horsepower and 90+ft lb of torque at the crank. This is accomplished by a G.I.A.C Performance Software Upgrade and a full turbo-back track edition performance exhaust. The moment you're in the driver seats and start this beast up, you feel the cooled seats on your back, the rumble of the new exhaust and as soon as you punch it, you hear the turbos sing loudly and the exhaust roar as you speed from zero to 60 mph, 1.03 seconds quicker than stock, thanks to the software upgrade. Now check out how we protect this beautiful and powerful car. Check out the installation process and awesome video footage below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfJLXXVA-m4 XPEL STEALTH is a popular film, to see more STEALTH installations click here: XPEL STEALTH Now, for the best part, pictures! XPEL featured on local news station Kens5

Original Story from Kens5 A Dominion home recently featured on KENS 5 as the most expensive house in San Antonio is 27,000 square feet. What about the most expensive cars in the city? It's called coffee and cars: Every two weeks car enthusiasts in San Antonio wake up early, and proudly display their favorite toy, their souped up car. There's something for everybody, including exotic cars. "This car revs at 9,000 rpms, there's really nothing quite like it," said Gary Davidson, Car Enthusiast. Gary Davidson said he has a passion for Ferrari's. One Ferrari in his collection is one of only 800 worldwide: a Ferrari 458 Speciale. It's considered an investment vehicle, meaning if he keeps the miles down, he could relist it later for even more than it's valued now, about $430,000 to $490,000. Davidson is not the only one in the Alamo City that shares a love for beautiful cars like this. "Some people just put these in the garage and look at it, I like to get them out in the street and really have fun with them," said Dave Gordon, Car Enthusiast. Gordon has a garage of 20 cars, but he has a real drive for Lamborghini's. "They hunt you down, they take pictures of you," said Gordon. "If you're going down the highway they'll speed up behind you and take pictures." Gordon said his passion for cars started as a young boy, so after working hard in life, he has no problem living out his dream of having a garage like his. "The Countach, that markets gone really high that's almost 500,000, the Murcielago running around 200,000 right now, the Diablo is probably low 200s," said Gordon. While those numbers might seem mind boggling, for some there are even more expensive vehicles out on our roads. "It's really a product for anyone who wants to keep their car looking new," said David Dick, XPEL Technologies Regional Manager. At XPEL they specialize in protective film for vehicles. It's similar to what you put on your cell phone to protect the screen from scratches. Because of that, the company often sees very expensive vehicles like Ferrari's. They also worked on a Bugatti, as well as a couple of LaFerrari's, vehicle's well over the million dollar mark. "Its going to range anywhere from 1.5 million all the way up to 2 million on the Bugatti's," said Dick. "The LaFerraris they sticker typically 1.7 to 1.8, but they're immediately already going up in value and worth somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 million dollars," said Dick. At XPEL Technologies, employees manufacture a paint protection film called 'XPEL ULTIMATE.' "Think about window tint squeegeed to glass. This is a paint protection polyurethane film that's squeegeed to the automotive clear coat of an automobile," said David Dick of XPEL Technologies. The product protects cars from certain types of damage. "[That includes] rock chips, bugs etching in the front or any road debris," Dick said. Their specialists work on all sorts of cars. "You see anything from 2015 Mustang to a 2015 McLaren 650S Spider," said Dick. Each car takes between a half and a full day to finish. "Our guys have been well trained, and we are very careful with how we work on the vehicles," Dick said. Training for this job typically takes between three and six months on the job, and installers end up making between $40,000 and $60,000 a year. Porsches 2 Ohio – Granville, Ohio

P2O, Porsches 2 Ohio 2015 Featuring XPEL ULTIMATE and '15 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet It was a chilly, bright and early July morning in Granville Ohio for the official start of P2O, Porsches 2 Ohio. The Porsches started arriving at 6:30am to the already closed main street, where the show was being hosted. Yes, they closed down the main street that connects the town of Granville, Ohio. The vendors and Sponsors were finished with there set up, and started greeting Porsche enthusiasts as they began to wipe down their vehicles. Then we heard these two magnificent Porsches arriving, a Cayman Race Car and the 887 horsepower, $929,000 Porsche 918 Spyder. These two beauties were the center of attention for the entire show. We only wish they were protected with XPEL ULTIMATE. Get an installation quote from a XPEL Installer. Below are the patterns that were installed on the Red Porsche 911 GTS. Demonstration of our XPEL ULTIMATE self-healing properties Our XPEL ULTIMATE film self-heals from light scratches, swirl marks and rock chips while driving or maintaining your vehicle. During the show we use a Brass wire brush to simulate the every day occurrences that can affect the film. With the sun on the display the scratches from the brush instantly disappear. When the sun is not available, you can accelerate the healing process with a cup of warm water or a heat source. Not all Patterns are created equal At XPEL we pride ourselves on our pre-cut pattern software. By using a pre-cut pattern you’ll have less to worry about, since the installer will not be trimming the film on your vehicle. Using a pre-cut pattern the film will naturally fit without excessive stretching or contortion, which means the finished product not only lines up perfectly but is free of defects which could be visible once the install is finished. Contrary to what some may believe it’s possible to wrap edges using a computer cut pattern which gives you a much better protection and installation. With XPEL Technologies Corp., all patterns are available with precision cut wrapped edges where possible. Where a wrapped edge is not possible, for example around the parking sensors on a bumper, reverse cameras and more, the film is always machine cut with precision. Barrett Jackson West Palm Beach with XPEL and The Sign Savers

Barrett Jackson: West Palm Beach Edition 2015 Featuring XPEL and The Sign Savers of Miami We arrived in West Palm Beach, Florida and the weather was beautiful, the sun was shining and it had yet to rain. The 13th annual Barrett Jackson West Palm Beach started bright and early on a beautiful Florida morning April 17th and concluded on April 19th, 2015. The first car rolled across the block at approximately 11am local time. We had plenty of face-time with previous customers and potential customers while showing off the great installation on the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 that the The Sign Savers of Miami, Florida installed. The Z06 was completely wrapped with XPEL ULTIMATE self-healing paint protection film. The following are all protected from rocks, bug acids, bird droppings and more: the bumper, hood, headlights, fenders, mirrors, doors, rock panels, roof, rear hatch, rear quarters, and rear bumper. It was reported that the owner is an avid racer and takes his vehicle to the race track, which is perfect because it is protected with XPEL ULTIMATE. One of the more talked about cars during the auction was Herbie The Love Bug. The "oil squirter", made famous by its design to squirt oil out of the passenger side wheel well, it squirted oil on the police officers foot in the 1977 film "Herbie Goes To Monte Carlo." After the films were done, the car passed through the hands of a few private owners and museums before being fully restored to his glory days. Now that the car was in pristine condition and it is one of the last ones that are in drive-able condition, the owner decided to put it up for sale. Unlike the movie the car did not drive itself, so the Barrett Jackson drivers drove it across the block...and the car brought a staggering $126,500 USD at auction! Statistics from Barrett Jackson: West Palm Beach The 13th Annual Barrett Jackson West Palm Beach brought in a staggering 60,000+ people! “This was one of the most successful Palm Beach collector car auction in our history,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. Here are some other interesting facts about this show: Sales from the sold vehicles: Over $22 million USD Vehicles Sold: 526 Bidders: Over 1,000, from 46 U.S. States and 2 foreign countries Media: 70 registered, from 13 U.S. States and 8 foreign countries Vendors: 73 Sponsors: 40 total Celebrity Appearances at Barrett Jackson West Palm Beach We were in the right place at the right time and caught up with WWE Hall of Fame member, Hulk Hogan! Hulk Hogan was there to help raise money for not just one, but three charities which include Connor’s Cure, A HERO Team and The Grace Project. He was auctioning a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, graciously donated by Torque Sports and Performance. With the help of Mr. Hogan, the vehicle sold for an astonishing $150,000 USD. Show Pictures XPEL Ultimate Self-healing Clear Bra XPEL ULTIMATE leads the industry with it's clarity, durability, gloss retention and more. Ferrari 458 Speciale Paint Protection Film

To Ferrari or Not To Ferrari, that is the question! Our response is always To Ferrari! This Italian Supercar is protected with XPEL ULTIMATE The owner of this beautiful Ferrari 458 Speciale wanted ultimate protection while driving the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 Ferrari ever created (so far). Yes I said ever, the Ferrari 458 Speciale makes 597bhp coming from a 4.5 Liter (4497cc) V8 engine . To be a little more specific, the Speciale makes 133bhp-per-liter, making it the highest specific output of any naturally aspirated Ferrari road car, Enzo and LaFerrari included. Now, if you are thinking of buying one or you're currently an owner of a Ferrari 458 Speciale, this little monster will take you from 0-60 miles per hour in just 3 seconds, which is .4 seconds faster than the 458 Italia. So, if you were thinking about upgrading your 458 Italia, this is definitely the car to pick. The Speciale shifts faster, turns quicker and even stops shorter. The engineers at Ferrari lightened the Speciale by 200 pounds and added a dash of clever technology to the car. The technical advances will amplify your skills, stroke your ego and make for a much more spirited driving experience. Since the owner wanted to drive this car to its maximum potential, they needed the best protection. They opted for a full front of XPEL ULTIMATE self-healing paint protection film. This includes the full hood, front bumper, headlights, full fenders and mirrors. If you look below you can see the kits we used for this magnificent car. Everything is plotter cut, meaning there is no need for cutting on the car. Please enjoy; I know we did.
