SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS, June 7, 2005…XPEL Technologies Corp. (CNQ: XPEL.U) announced today that the prestigious Rollcentre Team’s 24 Hours of Le Mans entry will be protected by an XPEL Paint Protection kit during the upcoming 73rd running of the event held at Circuit de la Sarthe near Le Mans, France.
Organized by the Automobile Club de L’Ouest (A.C.O.), the first race was held on May 26, 1923 and has since been run annually during the month of June, with the exceptions being 1956 (July) and 1968 (September), and was cancelled only in 1936 due to the economy and during the second World War from 1940 to 1948. XPEL’s European Distributor Mr. Tom Wakeford of Paintshield Ltd., stated, “Both our U.K. and France operations contributed to the design and installation of the XPEL product for Rollcentre’s LMP1 (Le Mans Prototype), which is an impressive 30-piece paint protection kit, custom-made for the world’s most famous endurance race. This will be the very first XPEL kit design utilizing 3M Paint Protection Film to participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Naturally, we wish Martin Short and his team every success.”
