1. Ensure that the surface is clean and dry.
2. Cut an appropriate size piece of film from the roll using a pair of scissors.
3. Peel 3 to 4 inches of the backing paper from one end of the material and fold it back.
4. Line up the part with the body side molding or character line to ensure the part is straight. If the vehicle does not have moldings or distinct lines to line up with, a piece of masking tape running the length of the vehicle can be used.
5. Press the adhesive down onto the panel and smooth with your hands.
6. Remove the remainder of the backing paper from the part and continue installing the rest of the panel.
7. Trim the excess material so that it is about 1/2 inch longer than the panel.
8. Wrap the excess material around the end of the panel.
