Product Data Specialist (San Antonio, TX)

SUMMARY: 

Since 1997 XPEL has been an unparalleled innovative force and world leader in the protective films industry.   XPEL is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Product Data (SKU) Specialist to oversee and optimize the process of creating, organizing, and maintaining Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) in NetSuite, our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Your primary objective will be to ensure data integrity for new product setup and managing existing products accuracy and efficient tracking of inventory through NetSuite, leading to improved stock control and operational efficiency. 

The Product (SKU) Data Specialist reports to the Director of Product Management.  

Major Job Responsibilities: 

  • Standardize and generate unique SKUs for each product variant or item in our inventory using NetSuite. 
  • Collaborate with various cross functional teams (Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Product Management) to ensure seamless recording and management of SKU-related data in NetSuite. 
  • Proactively address any errors or discrepancies in SKU data within NetSuite to maintain data integrity. 
  • Manage and maintain SKU listing on all online (retail, dealer portal) platforms as per the guidance from the product management team and work with any internal/external IT developers. 
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to smoothly introduce new products, creating new SKUs, and defining product attributes in NetSuite. 
  • Participate in SKU rationalization initiatives in NetSuite to streamline inventory management and enhance efficiency. 
  • Assist in implementing and upgrading NetSuite ERP tools in collaboration with IT/ NetSuite development team to optimize SKU management processes. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience as a SKU Management Specialist or in a similar inventory management role utilizing ERP software. 
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain processes within NetSuite. 
  • Proficiency in using NetSuite ERP for SKU management and inventory control is a bonus. 
  • Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in functions, formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. 
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in SKU creation and data management within NetSuite. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. 
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. 
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing business needs and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
