Install Support Technician (IST) Film Manager (Austin, TX)

Summary

We are seeking an energetic team member to support installations by managing film duties, including plotting patterns, recording usage, and managing film inventory. The right person is a proactive problem solver and strives to be an integral part of the team and supports the success of the company.

This position is based at XPEL’s Austin location.

Core Duties

  • Prepare & plot film for installation
  • Prioritize film plotting based on installer’s needs
  • Maintain pattern designs according to SOP and Installer’s needs
  • Stock, order and reconcile film inventory for Install location
  • Inspect film for defects/imperfections
  • Assist in QC (Quality Control) inspections on outgoing vehicles as needed
  • Assist in other Install Support duties as needed (prep, porting of vehicles, etc)
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Computer/software experience such as Microsoft Suite products or light CAD experience.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must have a reliable mode of transportation and the ability to be on time
  • Must be able to lift to 45lbs
  • Must work well with others and have good team building skills
  • Must be able to learn quickly and adapt to a quick paced environment
  • Courteous attitude towards customers and fellow employees in a multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment/post offer background, MVR and drug screen.
